Jason Rau was looking for a martial art but wasn't sure what to pick. A friend took him to a local college's BJJ club taught by a blue belt. Jason was hooked and soon signed up for classes at a local academy.
Jason signed up at the former ADCC, World, and UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra's academy. He took his first class the day after signing up and returned every day after.
This started a journey that continued through a successful competition career and years of training with the best jiu-jitsu fighters and instructors in the world.
