Daniel Maira has gone from almost giving up Jiu Jitsu altogether to becoming an academy owner and a Mikey Musumeci Black Belt all within the span of a few years.
Daniel had lost his passion for Jiu Jitsu and after meeting with Mikey Musumeci, who many consider the greatest grappler in the world, Daniel began changing how he trained, and how we was learning Jiu Jitsu. Daniel's philosophy was more in tune with Mikey's and seeing that someone as talented and so far ahead of his competition was like-minded light a fire under Daniel and set him on a new path, not only in competition but in a career path as well.
